Finally I managed to upload a couple of photos! Don´t mind my random selections :) Yesterday I went on a tour of the Gran Sabana National Park, and we saw about a dozen waterfalls. This one was the highest... did some swimming and cliff jumping in some of the other saltos (this one was tempting but i think 50m is a bit high... and it funneled into a raging river!). i also almost killed another volunteer when i told him he should body raft down some rapids i had just gone over and he ended up falling over them head first and backwards! luckily he survived...
And as you can see i am now a duck wrangler!! i have always wanted to hold a duck but last time i tried to catch one it bit me. the guy behind me is jorge from cuba... he caught the duck for me! i was reading the other day about wildlife in venezuela, and i discovered something VERY exciting...
R.O.U.S.´s
that´s right, for all you princess bride fans, the capybara is the largest rodent in the world (weighing upto 60kg) so i will definately go on a hunt for one of those! but i don´t think they exist...
i´m hopefully departing soon for a week long trek up to the top of a tepui!! so next time i should have some amazing pics and stories

Oh Westley, my dear Westley.
Keep having fun and be safe! Congrats on fulfilling your lifelong dream of holding a duck.
I'd write more, but I've got my country's 500th anniversary to plan, my wedding to arrange, my wife to murder and Guilder to frame for it, so I'm swamped.
Miss you!!!
P.S. Don't write anymore about cliff-jumping, or I will send a Cyprus Lake ranger and his grandma's snake charmer to come stop you.

Good to see you are not yet snarling ...foaming at the mouth.... and biting the ducks. In fact you seem to be holding the duck quite tenderly (-: I still have my concerns about the rabies vaccine you recieved...but I shall try to trust your Jorgie boy as well
Did you know that ducks poop --like every minute???
Darren says hi Kate....(
and my little brother says "how YOU doin?'..wink wink)...somehow he still has a crush on you.
