Pirate Life!!

Spent the last 3 days on the most beautiful beach of my life, Parque Tayrona on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Turquoise water, white sand, huge boulders, palm trees, coconuts, mountains, mud baths, and best of all tons of friendly Colombians! Pretty sweet to wake up in a hammock about 50m from the sea, dirtbag life Caribbean style. I feel like I should write more, but really I cant even describe how perfect it was!

I have decided that I will spend at least one month of my life living on a Caribbean beach and being a pirate!! Speaking of pirates, now Monica and I are in Cartagena del Indias, a beautiful Colonial city also on the coast. Theres lots of piracy history here, and the city is surrounded by these really cool fortified walls. By night the place is modern day pirate, with lots of partying, drinking, cocaine, prostitutes, and other things pirates may have dabbled in... but were staying out of trouble.

Tommorow were hoping to head off to some islands for a bit of snorkeling! Maybe also some fried fish and rum!! Our current mission is to try as many new fruits as possible, so far today weve sampled 3 new varieties! Today we also ate what was possibly the best cake I have ever tasted, passionfruit and cream sort of like a tiramisu... mmmm....
